The Union Gables is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.
FOR RESERVATIONS DURING THE SARATOGA RACING SEASON
(2013 Dates: July 19 – September 2) Thirty (30) days prior to the event, June 15, all balances for all reservations are required to be paid in full. Cancellation will be eligible for a refund only if the room is resold. All refunds will be charged a $25.00 processing fee.

*Special weekends include all major SPAC concerts (Phish concert, Dave Matthews, FarmAide), Skidmore Graduation, Skidmore Reunion and Skidmore Parent weekends, Saratoga Rowing Regattas, Saratoga Racing Season, 4th of July weekend, New Year’s Eve and Dance Flurry weekend.
FOR RESERVATIONS OTHER THAN SPECIAL EVENT WEEKENDS If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 (three) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. All cancellations will be charged a $25 processing fee.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full refund will be made, minus the cancellation fee.
Group reservations: For five (5) or more rooms reserved, a 25% down payment is required at the time of booking. In the unlikely event that you must cancel please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. Events: All event fees are non-refundable.
Check-in times: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.
Check-out time: 11:00 AM.
Absolutely No Smoking inside, however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
Pets are allowed in eight (8) of our guest rooms with an additional pet fee. We are happy to accommodate your best friend. Below please find simple guidelines help us make this possible: If you leave your pet in their room, please provide a phone number where you can be reached if there are any noise complaints. (Please call us if you would like to arrange for a dog walking service.) Please leave your pet in their room during breakfast, do not walk your pet on our lawns, and clean up after your pet when walking them. (There are trash bins on the left side of the parking lot, before you walk into the Dakota Garden at the back side of our building.)
Special situations for children apply in Late Spring (May 1) through Early Fall (September 15), which include an age restriction of sixteen (16) years of age and older and apply to reservation days of Wednesdays through Saturdays. Reservations for Sundays through Tuesday, children of all ages are welcome. Children are also welcome throughout the Fall, Winter and early Springtime (September 16 - April 30). Children must have adult supervision at all times in and around the grounds of the Inn.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
